Iron-based Nanocrystalline Ribbons
An amorphous ribbon is formed by rapidly quenching molten metal composed of iron, silicon, boron and a small amount of copper and niobium at 106 degree C / s. The amorphous ribbon is heat treated above the crystallization temperature to obtain nanocrystals (~10 nm) having a very small size and uniform distribution, and the microstructure has better soft magnetic properties than the amorphous alloy.

Sunbow produces various types of soft magnetic materials, including iron-based amorphous alloys and iron-based nanoalloys, and these materials are used in our products. We continually make technical improvements and develop new applications with the unique properties of these materials. Iron-based nanocrystalline materials are superior to traditional materials and will be the best solution for your application (Figure 2.1).
